Lot 1611 Vic Janowicz
Halfback for the Washington Redskins who played college football at Ohio State University and won the Heisman Trophy in 1950. During training camp in 1956, he suffered a serious brain injury in an automobile accident that left him partially paralyzed and ended his athletic career. Cardstock 8 x 10 photo of Janowicz leaping in the air with the ball, signed in black felt tip, “Vic Janowicz O.S.U. 50.” In fine condition.
